Baijia Publishing House
Founded
in 1987, Baijia Publishing House is a comprehensive
press with 56 staffs, among them 28 are with
middle or senior technical post. In the last
2 decades, it has published more than 3000 titles
covering almost all the specialties, ranging
from literature, history, philosophy, education,
art, medicine, biology, physics, mathematics,
chemistry, agriculture, economy to engineering
technology.
Recently,
our publishing house has been enhancing cooperation
with oversea presses as well as the publishing
houses in Hong Kong and Taiwan. We have successfully
introduced copyright from U.K. (Macmillan, Fable
and Fable, etc.), U.S.A. (Meadowbrook Press
etc.), Canada (Kids Can Press), Germany (DTV,
Ravensburger), Italy (De Agostini), Japan and
Taiwan District.
Besides
the editing and publishing section, our publishing
house owns a newspaper section for Readers'
Guide Weekly and a magazine section for Callighaghy.
With its distinctive characteristics, Baijia
Publishing House is known as a multi-functional
Press incorporating newspapers, magazines and
books.
