China is published by Shanghai Fine Arts Publisher,
which now is the only academic periodical in
China paying attention to contemporary art and
was established in November of 2001, whose Editor-in-Chief
is Lu Fusheng, Executive Editor is Xu Ke and
Qi Lan, copywriters are from every important
art center all over the world.
Art
China includes four parts: first is Focus Today,
which discusses the contemporary art tendency
from all points of view and in each volume organizes
theorists to explore a hot topic in contemporary
art theory. Second is Art Scope, which reports
important contemporary art activities at home
and abroad. Third is Live Report, which researches
artists and their works. Fourth is Global News,
which introduces recent art activities at home
and abroad. The four parts construct a dimensional
platform for contemporary art tendency, combining
academy and ageing, which is the most outstanding
feature of this journal.
